Nutrition Collective’s recent webinar – Navigating the Medical Minefield with Debbie Grayson

Many of us are working with clients who want to improve their health but who also take a number of prescribed medications. We often have a clear idea of what supplements may be beneficial but we are not so confident about checking that they are safe to recommend.

This webinar from The Nutrition Collective is crammed with useful information and I highly recommend you watch it yourself. You can sign up to view it here:   https://nutritioncollective.co.uk/courses/navigating-the-medical-minefield-a-masterclass/lessons/about-debbie-grayson-3/

Debbie Grayson has had over 25 years experience working as a highly respected pharmacist. She is also widely regarded as the expert in the field of interactions between prescribed medications and nutritional and herbal supplements. Debbie is passionate about bridging the gap between the allopathic and holistic approach to achieving health and wellbeing through teaching and mentoring other practitioners and in her own successful practice.

She uses her extensive knowledge of pharmacology and nutrition to teach and support practitioners, she is also known by many to be the pharmacist that knows everything and for her empathetic and nurturing approach to both her clients and the practitioners she mentors.

During the webinar Debbie told us that heavily medicated clients may need relatively more supplements than clients that don’t take medications, but that the overall interactions between these can be a minefield for practitioners to navigate. With her support, practitioners gain confidence in working with these clients to help them achieve improved health whilst reducing the time they spend researching medications and the impact that changed nutrition might have on them.

Attendees of Debbie’s flagship course say it has been the best investment they have made in their practice as they no longer spend so much time researching before producing nutritional protocols for their clients, freeing them up to take on more clients and improve the profitability of their business
